Ultimum Limited Expands Manufacturing Capacity in Nigeria
Ultimum Limited, a prominent player in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) beverage sector and producer of the Razzl brand of carbonated soft drinks, is set to unveil a cutting-edge manufacturing facility in Aba, Abia State. The inauguration is scheduled for Wednesday, marking a significant step forward for the company.
This investment aligns closely with the Abia State Government’s initiative to industrialize the region, reinforcing Aba’s status as a key manufacturing hub. The new facility is anticipated to enhance local infrastructure and provide residents with improved access to essential social services.
The launch of this plant is pivotal in Ultimum Limited’s growth strategy and emphasizes its commitment to bolstering local manufacturing. The company aims to create shared value and deliver high-quality beverages that cater to the tastes of Nigerian consumers.
Situated within the Osisioma industrial cluster, the new facility is strategically positioned to meet the increasing demand for quality beverages across the South-East and South-South regions of Nigeria.
Employing the latest technologies, Ultimum Limited ensures that its production processes adhere to international quality standards, providing efficiency and consistency throughout operations.
The new factory will serve as the primary production site for Razzl, offering a range of four exciting flavors: Pamplemousse, Cola, Orange, and Lemon. By localizing production, Ultimum is enhancing product accessibility while transforming the beverage experience for millions of Nigerians.
Beyond its role in beverage production, the Aba factory is poised to stimulate economic growth within Abia State. The facility is expected to create hundreds of direct and indirect job opportunities across technical, management, and distribution sectors, further benefiting local and national suppliers, logistics partners, and ancillary businesses within the supply chain.
According to Austin Ufomba, Managing Director of Ultimum Limited, this new facility reflects the company’s confidence in Nigeria’s future. He emphasized the resilience and hard work of Nigerians, stating they deserve quality beverages that invigorate and support their daily lives.
Ultimum Limited, part of the KADJI Group, commenced operations in Nigeria in 2022 and introduced the Razzl soda brand shortly thereafter, launching initial flavors such as cola, orange, and lemon. Today, Razzl products are available in seven different sizes, catering to a broad range of consumer preferences.
The unveiling of the Ultimum Limited production facility will be officiated by Governor Alex Otti, along with federal and state government officials and industry leaders, further establishing Aba’s reputation as a hub of industrial innovation and manufacturing excellence.
