The Federal Government is intensifying efforts to broaden access to internationally accredited education in Nigeria by establishing a local campus for Coventry University through a cross-border educational partnership. This initiative, spearheaded by the Federal Ministry of Education, aims to enable Nigerian students to obtain British-accredited degrees without the necessity of traveling abroad.

The Coventry University campus is set to offer a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in vital fields such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics, medicine, business, and vocational training. Alausa assured that all degrees awarded will be equivalent to those issued in the UK, with admissions anticipated to commence between late 2026, pending regulatory approval.
