House Bill 4111 prohibits the use of an individual’s immigration status as evidence in civil litigation, enhances protections against workplace retaliation due to work permit renewals, and expands existing profiling laws to include immigration status. Additionally, House Bill 4114 permits civil lawsuits against individuals who unlawfully enter premises without a warrant or other legal justification.

The new legislation also includes House Bill 4138, which requires law enforcement officers to clearly identify themselves and limits the use of face coverings during their interactions.
