Presight Partners with African Nations for Digital Transformation
Presight, a prominent AI firm specializing in intelligent systems for governments and critical infrastructure, has entered into memorandums of understanding with Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, and Gabon to enhance their digital transformation initiatives. This collaboration underscores the growing importance of technology in public sector efficiency across the African continent.
Expanding Operations Across Africa
The new agreements with Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, and Gabon mark a significant expansion of Presight’s operations in Africa. Through these partnerships, the company aims to collaborate with national agencies to implement advanced digital systems that leverage data analytics and automation. The objective is to improve both public sector performance and service delivery.
Strengthening Côte d’Ivoire’s Digital Framework
In Côte d’Ivoire, Presight has fortified its collaboration with the government via two key memoranda—one with the Ministry of Digital Migration and Digitization and the other with the Ministry of State, Public Services, and Administrative Modernization. These agreements focus on developing sophisticated digital platforms that optimize data management, enhance intergovernmental coordination, and boost overall administrative efficiency. This initiative aligns with Côte d’Ivoire’s ambition to become a hub for digital innovation in the region.
Commitment to a Forward-Thinking Digital Future
Anne-Désiré-Uroto, the Minister of State for Public Services and Administrative Modernization of Côte d’Ivoire, emphasized the significance of this partnership, noting its potential to fundamentally transform public administration. She highlighted the aim of the collaboration to establish a data-driven, citizen-centric government characterized by performance and transparency, ultimately positioning Côte d’Ivoire as a leader in artificial intelligence within West Africa.
Supporting Burkina Faso’s Digital Agenda
Presight is also collaborating with Burkina Faso’s Ministry of Digital Transition, Posts, and Electronic Communications through a signed Memorandum of Understanding. This partnership is set to bolster the nation’s digital transformation agenda by deploying AI-driven systems that will enhance public service delivery and establish a robust framework for cybersecurity. The initiative is designed to advance financial transparency and management in the country.
Fostering Innovation and Skills Development
As part of its commitment to innovation, Presight plans to establish an AI Expert Factory to train engineers and contribute to the Ouaga Granit Valley Center, a national hub aimed at nurturing Burkina Faso’s AI startup ecosystem. This initiative aims to empower the local workforce and foster a culture of innovation within the region, aligning with the country’s vision for a secure and inclusive digital future.
Commitment to AI Adoption Across Africa
In February 2026, Presight extended its collaboration with Gabon by renewing an existing agreement with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Innovation. This renewed partnership reflects both organizations’ dedication to advancing Gabon’s digital transformation through the integration of artificial intelligence and improved public service modernization.
Dr. Adel Alsharji, Chief Operating Officer at Presight, remarked on the increasing utilization of AI across Africa’s government sectors. He noted that many governments are actively exploring how AI can enhance economic development and modernize public services. Presight is focused on delivering intelligent systems that seamlessly incorporate data and automation into the operational frameworks of government agencies, thereby fostering tangible benefits for citizens and strengthening institutions.
Presight’s efforts in Africa are part of a broader trend toward increased global investment in AI technologies. Recent initiatives, such as the African Development Bank Group and UNDP’s $10 billion program to promote responsible AI adoption, further emphasize the critical role of technology in advancing inclusive digital growth across the continent.
