Dedicated, an Israeli technology company, has made a strategic move by acquiring Savannah, a startup focused on recruiting experienced developers from across Africa. Although the specific details of the all-cash transaction remain undisclosed, estimates suggest it falls within the millions.

Founded in 2022 by CEO Itai Azogui, Savannah has successfully established a network of over 100 African developers who are now working with notable global technology firms such as Firefly, Aqua Security, Port, and Bright Data. Having grown without external funding, Savannah will now operate under the offshore division of Commit, led by Evgeny Golubov.
Integrating Operations for Enhanced Client Services
All Savannah personnel, including Azogui, will transition to Commit, where they will continue to manage operations with the goal of enhancing client services. Azogui’s keen interest in Africa’s technology landscape was sparked while he was working in Accra, Ghana, where he identified a unique opportunity to connect local talent with international startups.
