Katsina State Governor Dikko Umar Radda has urged Muslims to embody the principles of unity, compassion, and generosity beyond the sacred month of Ramadan. He reassured grieving families across the state, stating that peace and security are forthcoming.
The governor made this heartfelt appeal during a briefing with reporters on Friday, following his participation in Eid el-Fitr prayers at Batagarawa Mosque, led by Imam Abdullahi Musa.
In a statement from his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, Governor Radda emphasized the significance of Eid al-Fitr, which celebrates the conclusion of Ramadan. He described this period as a time for reflection, gratitude, and joy for Muslims worldwide.
The governor also pointed out that this occasion presents an opportunity for the Muslim community to fortify their bonds of unity, love, and mutual support.
