Charges Filed Against Giuliana Colucci and Three Associates for Extortion
ORLANDO, Fla. – Giuliana Colucci, an Orange County resident, is set to face a court hearing Tuesday regarding her alleged involvement in a large-scale immigration fraud scheme.
As outlined by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Colucci, along with her husband and two associates, misrepresented themselves as attorneys from Legacy Immigration. They allegedly targeted undocumented individuals by promising assistance with legal status, resulting in fraudulent claims amounting to thousands of dollars.
Colucci faces several charges, including extortion. Her hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m.
The authorities assert that the fraudulent operation represented a staggering $20 million scam aimed at vulnerable undocumented immigrants seeking legal help. Following this exposure, Legacy Immigration has ceased operations.
