The Molade Okoya Thomas Sports Hall at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, is set to host the 2026 WTT entry service, which begins today. Tournament Director Dr. Kweku Tando highlighted the historical significance of the event, stating that it represents 13 years of advancement in Nigerian table tennis. He recalled that the tournament initially launched in 2013 as the Lagos International Table Tennis Classic, supported by the Lagos State Government, and garnered the attention of the International Table Tennis Federation, ultimately evolving into the ITTF Nigeria.
