Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has been appointed by the African Development Bank (AfDB) as the African Champion for the $7 billion African Integrated Aviation Transformation Program (IATP). The announcement was made in a statement from Tunde Moshood, Special Assistant to the Minister on Media and Communications, just before the AfDB’s Annual General Meeting, set to commence on May 28, 2026, in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo.
