Access Holdings Appoints New Leadership for Key Subsidiaries
Access Holdings Plc has announced the appointment of Mr. Sa’adu Jijji as the Chief Executive Officer of Access ARM Pensions and Mr. Abiodun Adigun as the Managing Director of Oxygen X Finance Company Limited, the group’s digital lending arm. This move was confirmed in a regulatory filing released on Thursday, indicating that all necessary approvals have been secured.
The Chairman of Financial Services Group, Aigboje Aigimokhude, emphasized that these appointments are part of the company’s strategic commitment to building a stronger executive talent pool. He noted, “As we continue our strategic evolution from scale to value, the quality of leadership across the business will become an increasingly important differentiator.”
Aigimokhude stated that these new leadership roles will enhance the organization’s ability to execute effectively, drive innovation, enforce governance, and create sustainable value. He believes that this leadership injection is crucial for navigating the complexities of the financial services landscape.
Sa’adu Jijji’s Extensive Background in Pension Management
Mr. Jijji brings over 20 years of experience in pension fund management, investment oversight, actuarial consulting, and corporate strategy. His resume includes senior roles at prominent financial institutions such as Premium Pension Limited, Alexander Forbes Consulting Actuaries Nigeria, and Pension Alliance Limited, where he served as Managing Director and Acting CEO.
In his previous positions, he managed pension assets exceeding N1.2 trillion, achieving commendable outcomes in growth, operational efficiency, governance, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Jijji holds an MBA from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ahmadu Bello University.
Access Holdings aims to solidify its presence in the Nigerian pension industry through Mr. Jijji’s appointment, focusing on enhancing customer confidence, investment performance, and long-term stakeholder value.
Abiodun Adigun’s Proven Track Record in Financial Services
Mr. Adigun boasts over two decades of experience in the financial services sector, specializing in business development, sales leadership, credit management, customer experience, and business transformation. Before his role at Oxygen X, he served as the Country Sales Officer and Chief Marketing Officer at Credit Direct Finance Company Limited.
While at Credit Direct, Mr. Adigun led significant business growth initiatives, reinforcing the company’s market position and driving strategic diversification. He holds both an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the China-Europe International Business School in Shanghai.
In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Adigun is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Accountants and a member of the British Sales and Marketing Association. He has further enhanced his skills through executive programs in digital leadership and transformation at esteemed institutions like Imperial College London and Singapore Management University.
