Nairobi International Financial Center Expands Partnership with ChainBLX SPC
NAIROBI, Kenya, June 19, 2026 — The Nairobi International Financial Center (NIFC) is enhancing its strategic partnership with ChainBLX SPC, further solidifying Kenya’s status as Africa’s premier hub for innovation, capital formation, and digital transformation.
Collaboration Aims to Foster Kenya’s Role in Digital Innovation
This partnership builds on ChainBLX’s previous success with the SCC Fund SP and introduces a new phase through the Art Fund SP and its portfolio company FlowPrompt.ai. This milestone further advances Kenya’s mission to emerge as the continent’s leading center for finance and innovation.
Launch of the Teleprompter Community Initiative
The collaboration will also support the launch of the Teleprompter Community, an ambitious initiative designed to cultivate the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, developers, and creators in Africa. This will be achieved through various hackathons, investment opportunities, and capacity-building programs.
Empowering Youth through AI and Technology
FlowPrompt.ai, a no-code AI orchestration platform, will power this initiative tailored to harness the potential of Africa’s youth. Participants will be encouraged to develop practical solutions in fields such as artificial intelligence, creative technology, digital infrastructure, and sustainable development.
Supporting Kenya’s Digital Transformation Agenda
This program aligns with Kenya’s national agenda to promote digital transformation, generate high-value employment, attract global investments, and position Nairobi as an attractive destination for technology-driven firms entering the rapidly growing African market.
Application Process Open for Innovators and Startups
Innovators, developers, and startups in Kenya can now apply via the FlowPrompt.ai platform, with applications open until September 1, 2026. Selected candidates will gain free access to the platform, mentorship, and exposure to potential investment opportunities.
Recognition at Upcoming Digital Davos Event
The top innovators and winning teams will be announced during Digital Davos, scheduled for January 2027 in Davos, Switzerland, coinciding with the World Economic Forum.
Leadership and Vision from Key Figures
As part of this initiative, NIFC Chief Executive Officer Daniel Mainda will serve as a chief judge for the hackathon series. “Kenya is not just participating in the global digital economy; we are actively shaping our future,” he remarked. This strategic partnership reflects a commitment to investing in African talent, ideas, and innovation. By connecting capital with technology and entrepreneurship, Nairobi aspires to become a global center for innovation and value creation.
Karl Seelig, CEO of ChainBLX SPC, emphasized Kenya’s advanced investment climate, expressing enthusiasm for the deepening collaboration through Art Fund SP and FlowPrompt.ai.
