At its launch, Paystack Index allows users to perform various financial tasks through compatible AI assistants. This includes purchasing airtime, mobile data, sending money via Zap, funding digital wallets, and ordering meals from Chowdeck. The platform currently supports purchases from major Nigerian mobile networks, making it a versatile tool for everyday financial activities.
Integrating AI into the Payment Process
By incorporating AI agents into its existing payment infrastructure, Paystack Index transforms the checkout experience. Users can simply ask a supported AI assistant to execute a transaction, minimizing the need to navigate multiple apps and websites. Paystack Index effectively interprets user requests, connects to relevant merchants or service providers, and securely processes payments utilizing both Zap and Paystack’s payment systems.

Paystack emphasizes that users retain complete control over their transactions.
