Sexton ignited a glimmer of hope for Catalan by scoring a try just three minutes into the second half. Still, Toulouse swiftly regained control, highlighted by Ashar Bot’s conversion kick and Ullberg’s try shortly thereafter. Toulouse’s dominance continued as Ashal Bott added another conversion in the 63rd minute, followed by late tries from Shorrocks in the 71st and 75th minutes that solidified the win.
