Government Secondary School Claims Girls’ Title with Dominance
In the girls’ final, Government Secondary School triumphed over defending champions, St. Jude Girls’ Secondary School from Amarata Bayelsa, decisively winning the match with a score of 68-36. This victory not only marked their success but also highlighted their impressive performance throughout the tournament.

Victoria, a standout player from the winning team, received the Most Valuable Player Award for her remarkable contributions over the course of the championship.
Father O’Connell Science College Secures Boys’ Championship
The boys’ title went to Father O’Connell Science College, who confirmed their dominance by defeating King Amakuree Academy from Obuama, Degema, Rivers State. Godswill Mene was honored as the tournament’s best male player, further solidifying his role as a key asset for the Niger state champions.
Bronze Medal Winners Shine in Competition
Earlier in the day, Ado Grammar School from Ado-Ekiti took third place in the girls’ category, winning against Urhobo University of Delta State with a score of 40-30. In the boys’ division, Davidhall International College in Obalende, Lagos, secured the bronze medal by defeating Urhobo College 51-43.

Gilbert Tuneboa-Kodua, the MILO Category Leader at Nestlé Nigeria, reflected on the tournament’s success, emphasizing its goal of nurturing young Nigerians beyond the classroom through sporting activities.
