Engagement with South African Authorities
Foreign Affairs Minister Sola Enikanolaye reiterated these points during a briefing with journalists following his discussion with Ronald Lamola, South Africa’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation. Lamola traveled to Nigeria as a special envoy from President Cyril Ramaphosa in the wake of attacks that resulted in casualties and significant property damage.

President Bola Tinubu endorsed this diplomatic strategy, highlighting the importance of collaboration among African nations to combat ongoing violence against their citizens in South Africa.
