Beau Greaves Achieves Another Milestone in PDC Women’s Series
Beau Greaves has secured yet another double victory in the PDC Women’s Series, bringing her total Women’s Series titles to 55. However, her remarkable winning streak may soon be impacted by a peculiar clause in the PDC rules.
The 22-year-old demonstrated exceptional skill by conceding only 11 legs across 13 matches. Her recent victories included matches against renowned players, such as 10-time Lakeside champion Trina Gulliver and Karolina Ratajska, spouse of Polish number one Krzysztof Ratajski.
Impact of PDC Rule 6.2 on Women’s Competition
Greaves is the sole female holder of a PDC Tour card, currently ranked 77th globally. Should she ascend into the top 64, she will be disqualified from participating in Women’s Series events, as stipulated in the PDC rulebook.
According to PDC Rule 6.2, participation in Development Tour events and the World Youth Championships is allowed for players aged 23 years or younger and those aged 16 or older as of January 4, 2026. However, players ranked in the top 64 of the PDC World Rankings as of the event’s closing date are not eligible for these tours.
Greaves Crowned Champion at Mattioli Arena
Known as ‘Bo and Arrow,’ Greaves extended her remarkable record of winning 134 of her last 135 matches in the Women’s Series upon her arrival at the Mattioli Arena. Her triumphs came in the ninth and tenth events of the series.
Greaves had a stellar start to 2026, achieving two nine-dart finishes and claiming her first PDC ranking title at The Players Championship 11 last month. Her dominance continued in a highly competitive atmosphere in the East Midlands, where she maneuvered through a field of 91 players in each event.
Reflecting on her rapid success, Greaves expressed her excitement at competing against players she has admired since childhood. The young talent indicated that her victory on the Pro Tour came as a surprise, considering the high caliber of talent she faced.
Upcoming Contests and Future Prospects
As the competition progresses, the top eight players in the Women’s Series rankings after Event 16 will compete in the Women’s World Matchplay at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens. Notably, Greaves, along with Lisa Ashton and Fallon Sherrock, has already secured her place in this prestigious event.
The top three players at the conclusion of the PDC Women’s Series will qualify for the 2026/27 Paddy Power World Darts Championship, while the highest-ranked player will earn a spot in the upcoming Mr. Vegas Grand Slam of Darts. The weekend’s Women’s Series matches will continue through Events 11 and 12 at Leicester’s Mattioli Arena.
Results from the latest events illustrate the high level of competition, with Beau Greaves and her competitors demonstrating remarkable skill and determination as the season unfolds.
