Bendrix International Limited Partners with CRS Water Concession SPV for Water Meter Initiative
Bendrix International Limited has officially entered into a $7.5 million contract with CRS Water Concession SPV Limited to provide ultrasonic prepaid water meters for installation in 100,000 households across Cross River State. This initiative coincides with ongoing efforts to rehabilitate, upgrade, and manage public water infrastructure in the region.
Public-Private Partnership Aims to Enhance Water Accessibility
The contract is part of a public-private partnership (PPP) designed to restore reliable access to potable water throughout the state, while simultaneously improving water distribution efficiency and revenue collection processes.
Project Launch and Future Readiness
Following the signing ceremony, Ben Ikise, Managing Director of Bendrix International Limited, announced that the installation of the 100,000 ultrasonic prepaid water meters would commence promptly. He emphasized that the company is well-equipped to handle any additional demand that may arise as the project advances.
Addressing Water Supply Challenges
Ikise highlighted that this initiative aims to resolve long-standing issues related to inadequate water supply and ineffective revenue collection through the implementation of modern metering systems.
