Globacom Rewards Top Business Partners in Gala Celebration
Globacom, Nigeria’s leading digital solutions provider, celebrated its dedication to excellence, loyalty, and strategic partnerships by presenting millions of naira in cash, new vehicles, and other valuable prizes to 115 outstanding business partners at the 2026 Glo Partners Reward Gala.
The prestigious event took place on Thursday at the Eco Hotel & Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, honoring dealers whose exceptional performance from January to June 2026 significantly contributed to the company’s sustained growth and market leadership. Abdul Rasak Ande, Head of the Lagos 2 Cluster at Globacom, emphasized that the gala is a celebration of the enduring partnerships, shared vision, and collaborative spirit that have driven the company’s remarkable progress over the past 23 years. He noted, “Our partners have been the foundation of the Globacom ecosystem for many years, and their success is our success.”
Reflecting on Globacom’s journey since its inception on August 29, 2003, Ande highlighted the company’s commitment to technological innovation, service excellence, and ongoing investment in communications infrastructure. He assured attendees of further investments in next-generation technology and network expansion to ensure that customers enjoy world-class services throughout Nigeria.
In line with its mission to provide greater value to subscribers, Globacom unveiled a series of consumer-focused initiatives under its ‘More Data More Value’ proposition. This initiative aims to maximize the digital value customers receive for every naira spent, reinforcing the company’s reputation for affordability and customer empowerment.
Business partners were also informed about several strategic innovations designed to enhance the customer experience. Notably, the introduction of the AI-powered Glo Café voice assistant, dubbed ‘Gloria,’ which supports customer inquiries in six languages. The company also announced the expansion of its “Borrow Me Credit” service to guarantee uninterrupted connectivity for subscribers with low or exhausted balances, while concurrently activating Glo Café to deliver a richer and more personalized digital experience.
The evening served as a delightful blend of business and celebration. A standout moment was the ‘Represent the Region’ Best Dressed Competition, which showcased the rich cultural diversity of Nigeria through traditional costumes. Winners included Mr. Alamin Muhammed Suleiman of Benjee Communication and Mr. Anthonia Agbasi of Chicadef Global Limited, who each took home ₦500,000. Guests were entertained by renowned live band maestro Segun Johnson, along with comedic performances from Gordon, supported by TV presenter and brand influencer Moe Abebe, promising an evening filled with laughter and memorable interactions.
On behalf of the award recipients, Mr. Ademola Akinrabi, Managing Director of Demi Global Resources, and Mr. Alhaji Yusuf Yahaya, Managing Director of Lambadaya Store, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Globacom for acknowledging exceptional dealers across various categories with prizes including new cars, cash rewards, and other incentives.
