In a significant diplomatic engagement, the President of the United States announced on Saturday a commitment to support Nigeria in addressing its current security challenges. Nigeria’s National Security Adviser Meets U.S. Officials
Bayo Onanuga, Special Assistant to the President for Information and Strategy, revealed that Nigeria’s National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, recently completed a three-day working visit to the U.S. from May 4 to May 6. During this trip, Ribadu engaged in high-level meetings with senior U.S. government officials and shared President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to Nigeria’s strategic relationship with the United States.

Throughout his visit, Ribadu met with various key figures, including U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance and Acting National Security Adviser and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
