Cindy Jacobs Highlights Governor Otti’s Leadership Potential
During a National Thanksgiving Service held at The Father’s House Church in Jahi, Abuja, Ms. Cindy Jacobs, an independent American prophet and co-founder of Generals International, emphasized that Governor Alex Otti of Abia State serves as a model for exemplary leadership and governance. This declaration occurred on Saturday as Governor Otti responded to an invitation from the event’s organizers.
Infrastructure Development as a Pathway to Prosperity
On her first visit to Nigeria in 23 years, Jacobs observed significant road construction progress across Abia State, observing that these projects are connecting villages and facilitating easier transportation of produce for local farmers. She asserted that divine support would ensure funding for these initiatives, stating, “God is going to start giving you money for infrastructure, and I think it’s literally supernatural finance that will allow farmers to sell their produce.”
Promising Educational Reforms for Abia State
Jacobs further articulated her vision for Abia under Otti’s leadership, predicting the introduction of innovative educational policies that could position the state as a leader in education within the region. She advocated for building more schools and enhancing teacher training, believing that education could significantly alleviate poverty. “God will do this,” she affirmed.
Governor Otti’s Commitment to Education and Health
In response to Jacobs’ prophetic insights, Governor Otti highlighted his administration’s commitment to education and health, noting that 35% of Abia’s annual budget is allocated to these sectors—20% for education and 15% for health. He revealed that his administration had already recruited over 5,300 teachers in an effort to improve educational standards, with plans to hire an additional 4,000.
Upcoming Initiatives to Enhance Learning Environments
The governor also announced that three new smart schools established by his administration would begin operations by the end of the month. He stressed the importance of investing in education as a means to uplift citizens and improve societal conditions.
Call for Integrity in Leadership
Addressing the congregation, Otti underlined the importance of adherence to Christian principles in leadership, emphasizing that true leadership is fundamentally about serving others. He communicated that actions matter more than words and insisted on the need for righteousness to foster national progress.
National Prayer Service Aims for National Healing
The National Thanksgiving Service at The Father’s House aimed to unite participants in intercessory prayers for Nigeria, seeking an end to violence and a pathway to healing for the nation. Organized by notable figures including former Minister of Education Oby Ezekwesili, this interdenominational gathering attracted religious leaders from around the globe, with Jacobs serving as the lead guest preacher. Ezekwesili and her husband, Pastor Chinedu Ezekwesili, commended Governor Otti as a beacon of hope within Nigeria’s governance landscape.
