ValueJet Expands Connectivity with New Routes in West Africa
ValueJet has announced the launch of two new routes as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing connectivity and improving passenger convenience across West Africa. This initiative aims to strengthen regional integration and cater to the evolving travel demands of the region.
New Daily Flights from Owerri to Abuja
Beginning May 18, 2026, ValueJet will introduce daily flights between Owerri and Abuja. This new route will establish a direct and efficient connection between Nigeria’s South-East region and the Federal Capital Territory, addressing the increasing travel needs of business professionals, government officials, families, students, and leisure travelers. By offering reliable and comfortable air travel, ValueJet aims to facilitate easier movement between these two critical urban centers.
Strengthening the Domestic Network
The introduction of the Owerri to Abuja route further enhances ValueJet’s domestic network. The airline remains dedicated to improving accessibility within Nigeria, focusing on dependable and customer-oriented operations that meet the diverse needs of travelers.
New Flights Connecting Accra and Banjul
In alignment with its regional expansion strategy, ValueJet will also launch flights between Accra and Banjul starting May 14, 2026. Operating three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, this route aims to improve accessibility between Ghana and The Gambia. It is designed to foster tourism, trade, and economic relationships across West Africa.
