CA4US, the largest statewide coalition comprised of business, labor, philanthropy, and civic leaders in California, has declared this week as Immigrant Small Business Week. By encouraging residents to support their local immigrant-owned businesses, the coalition aims to highlight the substantial economic contributions these entrepreneurs make to their neighborhoods.

The California Community Foundation is set to host a press conference on June 23, gathering leaders from various industries to release a collective statement and data showcasing the economic impact of immigrant entrepreneurship statewide. In Los Angeles alone, these actions have led to an estimated $1 billion loss in productivity, wages, and sales, impacting around 743,000 workers.
